29 Sep - Day 7: The morning began with shopping

8 am: It's a breakfast without kimchi! Soya milk, meat bun, wanton soup noodle, etc... It was pretty good. The soya milk was nice - very fresh! The wanton soup really tasted chinese! hahaha... Hm... a very satisfactory breakfast to start the day off.

The whole day was predominantly shopping... felt like a being pushed around to contribute to the Korean economy growth!

The first stop was the Ginseng Monopoly showroom... There are 4 types of ginseng (as told):
  • The youngest is known as 高丽参 (it's still very tiny that looks like the root)
  • Next is the 高丽人参 (where it takes the shape of a human)
  • Can't remember the name of the 3rd type, anyway.
  • The most expensive one which has 2 colours when cut (inner red) is 阴阳太极参

Oh yes, we learnt that there is little value of drinking Ginseng Tea (those that come in teabag) as it contains 80% glucose while 20% of the powder from the less value parts of the ginseng (eg. the roots).
