29 Sep - Day 7: Myeong-dong 明洞周围

It's the first time we checked in the hotel before proceeding for dinner. Yes, tonight's dinner was by ourselves! Wah! Could be challenging as we had be forwarned that almost all menus were written in Korean... and not many could speak English or Chinese... It's a survival session! That reminded me of the "training session" went through prior setting off to Bhutan - that was almost 5 years ago! But that was not too bad as we were in a remote village in Malaysia. We survived - one learning point - ask! ask! ask! body language would be handy... be observant, too!

We managed to get something that's decent! hahaha... went by picture and it would be ok :D

A bowl of noodle (7000 won) that's big enough to be shared between 2. It came with free kimchi and rice!

Myeong-dong was just a stone throw away from the hotel... I thought, perhaps we could come back to the Lotte duty-free shop to shop... ah! I "know" how to shop in such places! heehee... (not the messy kind at Dongdaemun!). Unexpectedly, the entire mall was already totally dark when we returned at around 9 pm!

Myeong-dong area was just like the night markets in Taiwan. Snacks everywhere, too! This was the night where I got the permission be indulged in street snacks! Haha...
